Since 1991, KRTA has provided its members and their spouses with a free telephone legal consultation service through the law office of Buckman, Farris & Rakes, PSC in Shepherdsville. The service features a dedicated "800" line for the exclusive use of KRTA members and spouses, advice on legal matters, the drafting of routine legal documents and the referral of complex legal matters to specialists or more geographically convenient practitioners.
